Creative Director · Sensory Experience Designer

Donovan Lord shapes the visual, spatial, and ritual language of SIXTEA. With a Master of Architecture and a practice spanning architecture, interiors, real estate, music, writing, sensory experience design through his wellness company SENSORIUM, Reiki, Sound Bath Practitioner, spirituality, tarot, and intuitive work, he approaches hospitality as an environment for transformation.

Donovan composes the tablescape, atmosphere, pacing, and symbolic details that turn a gathering into a fully felt experience—refined in its design, generous in its welcome, and grounded in emotional connection.

Charlie Cole

Culinary & Hospitality Director · Tea Mixologist

Charlie Cole brings the culinary warmth and practical hospitality that ground every SIXTEA experience. As a tea mixologist and presentation specialist, he develops gourmet sandwiches, pastries, beverage pairings, and service moments with equal attention to flavor, beauty, and the way guests feel at the table.

His spiritual practice—including Reiki, tarot, study under BOTA, and energy work—adds a gentle intuitive dimension to the ceremony, helping each gathering feel both sensorially rich and personally meaningful.

OUR ORIGIN

We started SIXTEA because beautiful gathering should make you feel something.

SIXTEA began with a shared conviction: tea could be more than a beverage, and hospitality could be more than presentation. Together, they could become a living ceremony that brings people back to their senses and back to one another.

How it began

Donovan Lord and Charlie Cole came to the table from distinct but complementary disciplines. Donovan brought architecture, interiors, sensory design, wellness, and intuitive practice. Charlie brought culinary artistry, tea mixology, gracious service, and energy work. What began as a conversation about creating a more meaningful tea experience quickly became a complete language of atmosphere, flavor, ritual, and care.

Why SIXTEA

We saw a need for gatherings that felt refined without feeling distant, spiritual without being prescriptive, and restorative without losing pleasure. SIXTEA was created to hold all six senses—taste, touch, smell, sight, sound, and intuition—inside one beautifully composed guest journey.
